I contracted with Hilltop Homes to build my home in Peachtree City in 2006. From the inception of the contract, Hilltop Homes demonstrated a tremendous ability to communicate what I could expect at each step of the process. Carlos Gonzalez, the general contractor, sat down with me in my office to go over the floor plan that I had picked out and to lay out a budget for the project. He asked what I wanted in my home and gave good suggestions as to where I could either save money now or perhaps upgrades that I might want to consider to make my home more efficient and cost effective in the future. A few days later he emailed me a detailed budget and a timeline for different phases of construction. During the construction, if at any time an issue came up, Mr. Gonzalez was on the phone with me explaining what was going on and advising me as to what my options were as to how he could take care of it. He was able to keep the project on budget and finish within the timeline that he had laid out. I couldn't be more pleased with the process or the finished project. I recommend Hilltop Homes without reservation to anybody looking to build their own custom home.
